Independent servicing does not mean reduced quality. Jack's Garage carries out manufacturer-schedule servicing on all current VW models. Your warranty remains fully valid — legislation since 2003 means your VW warranty is protected when serviced by a qualified independent garage using genuine parts.

MOT Testing & Engine Diagnostics
Jack's Garage is an authorised MOT test centre. We test all VW models including campervans. Engine diagnostics use the latest diagnostic tooling for both classic (air-cooled) and modern (OBD-II) VW vehicles. If something fails, we'll carry out the repair and retest.

Brakes, Tyres & Running Gear
Safety-critical work done properly. We carry out complete brake overhauls, tyre fitting for all VW wheel sizes, wheel alignment and balancing, and full suspension checks. Classic VW drum brakes and modern disc systems — we handle both.

As the UK agent for eClassics (Stuttgart, Germany), Jack's Garage offers plug-and-play EV conversion kits for air-cooled Volkswagens — the same technology developed with the support of Volkswagen themselves. Joseph became one of the UK's leading experts in this field after converting his own Beetle, Pugsley, in 2019.
The converted vehicle retains its original body, character and aesthetic, while gaining a silent, emission-free drivetrain. No period-incorrect modifications, no loss of charm — just a cleaner, quieter powertrain inside a classic VW shell.

Legislation introduced in 2003 protects your right to have your VW serviced by any qualified independent garage without voiding the manufacturer warranty. Jack's Garage has been an authorised independent VW service centre since that regulation came into force. Your warranty is safe with us.
